Went to the Terminal again. Solid 20 knots all morning. Few kites and wingers out. Finally made a footswitch into a toe-side tack. Made one heal-side tack and a few 360s, fun short session. Feels like I'm making some progress after a bit of a hiatus.

Alton Jr (8m+surfboard) and I (12m+surfboard) scored an epic afternoon wave session starting at Tolmie then beating up to Acadia then Tower Beach in steady W 18-25 with clean head high waves with glassy 60' spacing. Alton Jr did better than I and made it up to Wreck Beach. I would have joined her but being frequently overpowered on 12m was exhausting. Should have taken the 8m and put Alton Jr on the 5m. These were some of the best bottom turns I've had in a long time. Nobody was around so it felt like we had it all to ourselves.

Great way to end the week with a ton of westerly wave sessions and only one Squamish session on Wednesday.

Unfortunately couldn't join for Jericho sessions. But had good time at Squamish Saturday and Sunday. Not busy, steady 17kn. Perfect for 5m kite foiling in flater water.
Lots of salmon, was knocked out of foil 7 times today and 5 Sat.

Hey Alton, what time were you two up there? I started heading that way around 4pm from Tolmie, but hit a sandbar by the far pylon and decided to ride rollers back down. Could see breaking waves upwind, but thought it was probably similar shallow chop where I hit the sandbar and maybe still too shallow for the foil.

Alton Jr and I launched from Tolmie around noon when the sandbar started appearing. It took about an hour to beat up to upper Acadia and Tower Beach where we enjoyed smoooth head high waves. I think we had the waves all to ourselves for 2 hrs.

We were well upwind of the far pylon.
