Go out at the ferry terminal this morning. Steady 20 knots, few kites and wings out, nice flat water practice! 3.5 wing with the 799 Balz Pro, probably broke my speed record but didn't have the GPS on. Had to be careful if you came too close to shore the weeds would stop you dead, had a few nice crashes and a bit of a swim/walk back through the weeds.

Another great day off of Spanish Banks today with some fun swell near the east dauphin.

Many other wingers and kiters out enjoying the westerly.

How crowded were the beaches today? I'm wondering if parking will be bad tomorrow (Sunday) ... maybe not with the cooler temperatures and smokey sky

The beach wasn’t very busy compared to previous weekends.

I showed up around noon and got a spot just west of the Locarno lot without a problem and I saw a few spots open up as I rigged up.

Planning to do the same tomorrow.

Your mileage may vary.

Got the jibes to toeside sorted out on the wing. Much windier than expected out there today. Had to size down to 4m but then noticed a small tear so switched to kite. Fantastic kitefoil session, first time testing out the Axis PNG 910b with the kite and it delivered. Perfect for the swell out there today.

That's great! I see you picked up a cruzader, how do you like it? Is it inflatable?

It’s nice in LW but a bit of a tank. Really likes to point with the waves. I also don’t have much to compare it to as my only other board is a 58L sinker that I haven’t put much time on.
