Windsurfing shop talk

A let down after yesterdays epicness but still nice to get out and stretch the muscles, I could hardly move after yesterday. I wanted to go foiling but the tide was too low so windsurfed. Started out OK and I had hopes it was going to turn into something but the wind shifted East and was up and down. Just as I was coming in it started to pick up again and decided to go back out but it wasn't enough. It cranked after I came in though. :( Maybe some foiling at the Ferry Terminal tomorrow.

What a treat to have 2 consecutive days. 2.5 hrs on 9m+surfboard in ESE 18-25. Waves were only knee high but clean and nicely spaced by 3rd Avenue for tons of toe side rides. Kited until the darkness got too challenging ... just before 7m conditions arrived.

Interesting, WR did not really pick up until after dark. An NE can really kill a SE wind in WR, the wind stayed out in the straight.
