Still quite easterly ~ 15 knots . Most on > 12 m kites and few look struggling to go upwind.

Oh wait, I can hear the raindrops on my roof now -- a sign of SE to come.

Centennial Beach OSR. Wind decent. Swell decent. Drizzle. Very very very cold. Come on out!

Oh, did I mention it's a wee bit cold?

PS. 4.7 :D

It was a day of perfect timing. Committed to a flu shot in the morning so took the afternoon session. Patiently waited for 7m conditions and it arrived as predicted at 2pm. Scored almost 2 hrs in gusty SSE 22-30 so 7m+surfboard offered the best range. Waves were mostly disorganized with high tide but clean chest high waves were plentiful especially outside of the boat launch ... tons of big wave rides shared with only 8 kiters at 3rd Avenue.

Air temperature was fine but waterstarting was rather chilly - someone mentioned 2°C

Massey tunnel traffic and bridges returning to the North Shore was better than expected for a rainy rush hour.

Fingers crossed for a strong westerly Friday afternoon.

Slim pickings. Painful watching CBTV while waiting for the late day kick that finally happened minutes before my cut-off for heading south. Looked interesting when I arrived, but reports from the water were mixed and there rumours of cross-chop and big holes (both true). Gloves, cold water, gusty, unstable wind and pounding chop – slim pickings.

I was in the same place except my cut off passed and I commited to more work  . Interesting to note was that although iwindsurf showed good wind, it didn't seem to reach the Boundary Bay airport sensor. I thought something may have been wrong with one of these two sensors, but is may have been that Centennial was on the edge of the wind.
