Windsurfing shop talk

Nice to see some fall colours. That's a big storm! I know it's a week out but chances are good we'll get some wind soon! At least they will get some rain down south.

How ARE the weeds at BB right now? Are they bad already or can we get by with a regular fin for the short term?

Usually they aren’t too bad until the first storm rips them all loose.

Every year people show up without weed fins and they leave with their tails between their legs. Just get your weed fins organised.

Lot's of weeds in the bay. Wind lull'd today and kite dropped, lines were full of weeds in seconds. Not the worst I've seen it by any stretch, but there are lots of pockets of weeds out there. I'd recommend weed fins.

Wowsers was full on this afternoon 25 to 30 knots from 3:30 to 5:00. A bit shifty and gusty though.

Sun and blue skies for about an hour too.
