Awesome video, thanks for sharing. It would be really interesting to empirically test which forecasts work best for our local spots. As they pointed out in the video, the global models don't factor in topography. Never heard of PWG and PWE but it looks promising since it anticipates thermals. If any developers are out there, I'm looking at building an ensemble forecast of my own for local winds and waves. Mostly, I have been looking at naively averaging all possible models to get a rough picture for estimated wave heights in the Strait of Georgia.
