Windsurfing shop talk

I've been trying to track one of these down but have had no luck doing so. This is a long shot but does anyone know Pete Nory from Squamish? I heard he has one and I wanted to talk to him about it. Or if anybody has one they might want to sell?

Are you talking about the foil? If so, just order one. Plenty of places have them.

Talk to Brit - Pretty sure he will send to Canada

They send to Canada.

Or check out Big Winds. They are a Starboard dealer. Did you call Trident Sports and verify if they have something?

Thanks, yes I know those guys have them, I may order from them. Trident doesn't have any and Bigwinds only has the Carbon one.

What is the price in CAD - if available? Keep in mind that you will have PST/GST & import fees; still might be less than in Canada. Border will not be open for some time, so that option isn't available.

Edit: Here you go: https://www.windspirit.ca/shop/foil/foi ... x-87-2020/

They claim no import duties on prices. Comes from Canada. Good luck.

I would prefer the carbon one so you don’t have to worry about corrosion problems, although the fuselage could still be aluminum.

The best deal I’ve found in foils that size so far is $1275 US ($1700 cdn) including shipping. That would be for a fwind i76 from BigWinds. Does anyone know what kind of duties would be added on to that? I think we can get the NP with medium wing for a bit less but that front wing is a bit smaller than the i76 and quite a bit smaller than the supercruiser.

I know of one person who bought a 2020 Wizard and SS 76 package. It was delivered from Windance (USA) to Vancouver (CDN) had to pay GST&PST but no duty.
