Anyone have an update on the parking at Acadia? I know it was open a while ago but I thought I heard they closed it.

Looking at the park website it seems that the parking is closed. Gonna be a loooooong walk to that 1.2m tide. Tempting to foil instead but I think the low tide and higher winds will make the surf worth the walk.

It was definite night wind. I had a few reaches foiling with a 5.5, could gone 7+ though. Also there is lots of small Fraser River debris out by the freighters and a Sinistar of a dead head on the shelf about 400m West of Tolmie. Right now I would say it is still foilable on big gear if you don't mind schlogging a little.

I'm gonna make the long slog out to the low tide. Should be fine even if it's SW with the low tide.

It was Small Thursday but I still got some fun foiling rides out by the tankers. Gotta love how skunk proof a massive foil and bigish sail is. Hoping tomorrow is better.

Watched a kiter swim in for almost 2 hours from halfway to north van. 2 boats(including SAR) offered to help but he toughed it out. I bet he's in bed already!

The wind was shifty and wierd, 8-12 knots but it seemed extra swirly and up and down. On the plus side it was nice and sunny.
