How was it? I'm heading into a 2 week break so if there's some wind I should be able to make it out (providing it's not too cold).

Hey Alton, you didn't miss much!! Wind was weird, up and down, waves were choppy and it was cold! Not the best way to end the year but at least I got out for a bit. Started on my 80L and it just sunk, made it back to shore and switched to the 102L, better but I was missing my centre fin which i didn't notice until I was on the water thinking why is my board going sideways? Came back in got a fin and things were much better. Came in to warm up when Darrel arrived, the wind looked like it had picked back up so grabbed the 80 again, it just sunk again, grabbed the 102 but shortly after I returned to the water the wind completely died.

Good to get out as it's been a month but not what I was expecting. Got a couple planing runs but mostly slogging around in the ESE 15-20 knots of wind. It completely died after a promising gust lured both M and I out far enough to take some time to get back. It went E and slowly built to about 10 knots by the time I floated in. There were 2 Kiters up off 3rd who seemed to keep their kites in the air so maybe the wind was better up there? New wetsuit kept me toasty but my hands were numb by the time I got back in.
