Yes - thanks for the input. Maybe now first choice Acadia??

Looks like some wind out there now but not quite yet W.

At Ambleside now. Already 4.0 conditions. Quite inshore here but otherwise the waves look great. Might be too windy soon

Are there waves to stand up surf? I’ve been nursing an “upset stomach” at work all morning with my board in the car just in case...

Wow that was FUN! Got to sail Ambleside for my first time this morning in beautiful 4.0/85 litre conditions. Copied Massimo’s launch technique and made it out through the breaking waves without incident. We launched just dowwind of the totem pole then headed upwind to sail most of the session off the main beach. Well-spaced waves for gybing near the beach and HUGE swell (6-9’?) on the outside for scary fun.
Had my sweetest wave ride on the way back downwind to come in: stayed on the face and sailed across it all the way down the bay below the totem.
Only mishap was coming back to the beach- definitely haven’t figured that out yet and got rolled in the wash when I stepped off the board. Lost a mitten but saved my gear , so still a good ending to a milestone session!
Ps - big thanks to Greg for texting me from the beach this morning!!
Pps- 4 windsurfers and about 8 kiters enjoyed this rare N Shore session.
