Still looking good! Maybe Acadia, but also looks big enough that maybe White Rock.

How far would the walk be at Acadia with a 1.6m tide at 09:56?

White rock will certainly go off, but if the NW gets too strong (20+), like this one might, the wind starts to go over the hill rather than wrapping around ocean park point. Thermal from the farmland can also help keep it onshore, but I think it is too late in the year.

At very low tide it is rideableish, but it tends to clock around between side and offshore and very very gusty. With it coming over the hill there is also a large wind shadow close to shore.

Tswassen is a much better bet IMO.

Not so bad. 1.7 m is just enough for a small sandbar at upper Acadia (to self launch a kite) but starts flooding quickly afterwards.

2c, sisters seems to start early morning 7am, coming down (southern strait in SW mode), ballenas by 9am, by 10am getting into inlet (Acadia) as usual. 10-2:30pm is the time before logs start floating. at 10am, 6ft tide... Ambleside will not work until 11am, by then it's too late as tide is 7ft (at 9ft break is gone). 20-25 knot range does not seem enough for left Ambleside break. The 2 kite surfers at WB will have fun, by 2:30 logs will be all over and break will be gone, at beach. It does not seem a 25-35 range NW.

best surf 1-2pm.

Thanks for reminding me that White Rock is a good option if Acadia becomes uncivilized

Westerly wind gives many options. Just depends on your proximity to location, wave preference, or want to pay parking.

Ambleside -- doable on westerly with nice swells too and parking is free and close to North Shore and Squamish folks. And room for self-launch and land. High/low tide is ok.

Ferry Terminal -- ok on westerly too free parking but self launch/land on high tide is tricky.

Spanish banks -- certainly ok on westerly and parking is free too. lotsa room for self-launch/land.

White Rock -- ok on westerly too but parking is not free. self-launch/land is impossible on high tide.

But hail to westerly. We all get to sail closest to our choice of beach.
