Glad you scored something Alton! 2 hours of slogging for me, I did get planing once though. : ) I also finally figured out how to do a light wind water start, I've tried before but couldn't do it, must have done about 20 of them today. That will come in handy at Long Beach and Maui on those really light slog and ride days. Still todays session was better than my last session at Squamish!

I can’t believe my 8m kite still up in the air at 5 knot lull. Drove all the way from Squamish might as well enjoy what’s out there. At least taught my goofy side to do stuff I do on my normal side. Feel good about that. Would have been great day for foil but saw none. Realized foil is no match to weeds.

Had the early shift at BB on the foil, one other foil out was coming in as I went out. 40 mins before it tanked and I had to drift in and walk in. All good. Tide was getting low, but no weeds while I was out.

It was a decent 3+ hours on the water, wind was up and down, got really gusty for a while and did deliver proper fall frontal winds for about 40 minutes. Waves never really materialized though.
