finned

Windsurfing shop talk

Just got out to Long Beach and 20 minutes in got sliced open by my SUP fin. Caught a wave a little late and went off the back of the board, not sure how I landed on my fin but felt it hit my hand. Didn't think much of it until my hand came out of the water and I took a look.

Ouch :!: :(
Those fins are sharp!

Sand them down. I dont know why they sell fins so sharp, no difference while surfing. A surfer got slashed by his own fin last year, Tofino...he did not make it.might as well surf with a loaded gun
