Hi Michael
I'll be there - Mar 11th - Apr 18th this year.
Going a little earlier - our family is coming for Spring Break.
Usual thing for me - I'll be in the Uppers Parking Lot or at Kehei - whichever is Windier.
See you in Paradise

Huge Surf to day - word was they might close shore access on the North Shore.
Way too big for me - I went to Kihei again - had a god day.
Hope Michael & Rob made out OK

Hey Bryan, yes they did close shore access today. Only Kanaha was open but the wind was dead onshore so I didn't go out. It was kind of light and the waves were massive!! We went to Jaws but we noticed everybody walking up the hill when we got there and a couple of people told us not to bother as the waves had died off. Hopefully start sailing on Thursday as the trades look like they are coming back. Forecast looks solid from then though. :D Got a few shoots from Hookipa lookout.

Finally some wind and waves. Felt a little rusty at first but after a few rides things started getting better. Wind was up and down and got really light near the end. 5.4/102L, looked windier than it was and some crazy current going on in the channel made it hard to get out. Got a few nice waves and was stoked but then had a punishing work out that finished me off. Made it over 6 big walls of white water and was almost to the outside when another massive set came and wiped me out. Wave of the day was sweet though! :D A few more days of fun to come.

Nice, Michael. Looks like you should enter the Pistol River wave competition in June.

Thanks Darrell, it would be super fun to do the comp. I thought about doing it many times but it never seems to work out timing wise, maybe this year. :D

Outstanding wave and ride Michael! You were right there and nailed it. Thanks for the video, we should all have a ride like that in our back pocket. Keep the stoke coming.
