Who's gloating now?

You are right there was a good pay off in the end.

My plan was slightly flawed as I forgot my contacts. Nice not needing my funky reading glasses to see my phone watching for wind all afternoon but in the dusk I could barely see out there. Lost track of Dave & Mike so I thought they had come in. My watch on my harness was set a little fast so I thought it was 4:30 - could have got a little more. I'd say Dave earned that late S / SSE blast the most given his efforts and sacrifice much of the afternoon by getting out there to let us know if there was enough wind (and there was not).

I saw one guy kitesurfing PR (camera @3pm) ... may need more wind and tide to make it fun

Alton : 2015/12 video . HB 2.3m that day.

Seems wind is farther West this year for Se's. If by Monday we don't get some then it means surf is drying up locally... No ambleside sessions for 2018, NW's at WB are crap, and PR has not delivered a decent session in years.

George may confirm, but his surf review may get him banned from wtfbc
