Windsurfing shop talk

Almost didn’t go as it was pissing rain most of the morning West side. Glad I did!

N then NE then back to N, squally wind and shifty swell direction had me riding almost parallel with the beach at times, made for some killer backside hits.

Very choppy on the inside but nice smooth sections out on the reef, rode Lowers then down to Boneyards for slightly better wave angle. Fun smacks, longer session and lack of Michael prevented epicness :D

More please

Kanaha yesterday, windy 30-35. Not much in terms of waves but you could find something about shoulder high to play on at the second section of lowers out from kite beach. So nice to step right off our flight and go sailing right away. Using my own gear and not need to acclimatize with rental gear - priceless. No sign of Tony.

It's 2020 photo shoot season on Maui. Next year's gear is super cool.

At Hookipa, Keith Taboul, Marcilio Browne, Levi Siver, Jason Polakow, Sarah Hauser, Ricardo Campello, Robbie Swift, Antoine Martin, Bernd Roediger, Jake Schettewi, Jaeger Stone, etc., showed up. Team JP/ Neil Pryde shot from a helicopter. I guess for high quality shoots drones aren't quite there yet.

Apparently the Fanatic/ Duotone team was shooting at Sprecks.

Robby Naish was on his foil/ wing gear at Kanaha.

WindGuru GFS Maui... you can usually add 5 knots to the windguru forecast. Also gives you the wave forecast.
