Let's talk about foiling

I've thought about the LP but it doesn't really adapt to all the boards I'd want it to.
On the other hand I could just bite the bullet and put a tuttle foil box in the boards I'm going to foil with. Or even add a double track system.

The other thought with LP is the wings are very expensive and don't seem to have that much development in them in terms of shape.

Any idea how much a 1300 wing and adapter for frs would be?

I think the adapter and 1300 wing is USD 485. Don't hold me to it.

I have a deep tuttle and when it goes on me, I will install deep tuttle foil and track mount. I disagree with prices on wings, but agree that they might not have the deep pockets for testing. Most wings are not on his website, which is terrible anyway. Peter has been around for some time and knows his stuff. The most important part is that he can customize what you want and it might cost you the same as Fanatic products and the mast is carbon.

That's a better wing price than Fanatic to be sure and quite a bit less than I thought I saw on their website.

I'd be tempted by a plate mount mast then adapt from there. Already companies have made deep tuttle mounts for the top of plates and I think I could do the same for a PB easy enough.

Finally got out on the Moses 1100. Wind here on the Okanagan lake is gusty, like 2 gusting 25, so it was a bit intense at times trying to control that big wing. Once I took my back foot out of the strap and placed it near the centre it turned into a different experience though. Over 20 knots I would still breach and I had a few nasty crashes but for the most part it was super playful, was carving off the big swell in the middle of the lake, exactly what I was hoping for! Can't wait to get back out.

That Moses 1100 sounds amazing from everyone I know who has ridden it. Fast and efficient but also carves nicely.
Getting something that wide and high aspect to turn is a real accomplishment.

I've finally got my used Supercruiser 1700 and built a load plate to use it in my unmodified board. The mast head itself fits extremely tight.

I'm interested to see how it balances since the front wing is quite far towards the rear compared to the Slingshot I76 in C position which is my preference.
However the stabilizer is huge and has a massive range of adjustment.

Way to go Michael! Funny we're getting this light wind gear and now over powered.

Sounds like fun Michael, hope you got some video to add soon, may help me learn what, or what not to do!
I got my foil in the mail a few days ago so chomping to go. One question I have for everyone, is Tef-gel the best anticorossion gel, and where are you buying it. Are other guy happy with marine grease or aluminum antisieze? Cheers, rich
