DB: Thanks for taking the time to post all the info. A couple of additions below.
Furry Creek: One session there I noticed a strong current along the shore pushing in the opposite direction from the tide (like there was a giant eddy) - flooding tide, but current along shore above the creek was flowing outbound.
Porteau Cove: Can be a good option in the spring on those days when Squamish is uber gusty and unsettle but the wind is usually weaker requiring bigger gear. Elliott and others have sailed there on winter outflows but the wind was too far over on the other side for my comfort.
