It's been a while since our last update. We've been sailing, not too often now that it's winter though, maybe once every two weeks. We scored yesterday though. Jen had four hours off work in the middle of a 26 hour shift. Needless to say we rushed to the beach. The winter NW was blowing and the swell forecast was for 5m. We were the only ones out. Me on one of the bigger ones of the day. I was being super careful not to wipeout.
A smaller less intimidating one, this was our first time on Starboard tack in about a year so I did not feel very comfortable.
Me trying to get a bit deeper while the wave jacks up. The problem with this spot is if one goes too deep there is a nice bed of kelp to hit.
Jen. I saw her on a huge wave, unfortunately we did not get a picture of it.
