Michael - Let us know how PR looks as I would prefer it over Acadia especially as the wind backs off a bit and the morning progresses. Packing the van now and targeting an ETA of 8:30. Darrell

Thanks M! Headed to PR as the lack of wind in Burnaby has me spiked (ACD tank).

Great looking waves today at Ambleside as I was crossing the Lions Gate. It was breaking at least 2-4 foot on the reef outside the Capilano River mouth. I can't leave work, but hopefully someone gets on it!

The good news:
• 4.0/84/110
• point break
• pacific dolphins
• sunny
• 6 degrees warming to 8
• 5 min boarder crossing SB

The bad news:
• pointfest (wicked tide pushing WITH the wind)
• walking up the beach (following the lulls)
• shore break rejections
• 25 min boarder crossing NB

Nice small gear session, some nice backside rides and jibes in the impact zone, but super frustrating to see but not get to ride the largest wave at the point (breaking all morning).

Good report out Dave. One add to good news (under the small sail section) is that it was windy. I'm speaking from the point of view of leaving for Acadia for cranking wind and arriving to nothing - then off to PR where the wind was near oppressive in the parking area.

Good turn out at Jericho this morning.
wind came back up at 9h30, 5.8 and 105 was good , but could have used a little less.
AJ was there with Rocky , Aj was on 4.0 83L and seemed to do really well most of the time!
scored a solid 2.5 hours on the water, very happy for my first 2014 sesh!

White Rock was good. 4.7 from 11:00am to 2:00pm lower tide, nicely sized waves, nothing crazy but really decent! :D
