Wasn't expecting that but it was a fun none the less. Wind was solid 4.7 80L for the first hour but the waves were so so. Took a break just after 11 because I took my wife's car keys to the beach and had to run home and drop them off. After I returned the wind seemed to shift ESE and get a little lighter. The waves dropped off and things got a bit choppy too. Sailed for a bit more then packed it in. Centennial's water conditions sure are moody. Oh ya it was cold!! Hope tomorrow delivers because after that things look dismal. :( Glad Mike, Bryan and John joined me. Hope things lasted a bit longer for you guys.

Glad a few hit that one! :D ;) Funny to see you calling CNL a moody ride!

Hey Michael, glad you got out today, sounds like you caught the best of it. Off topic, what was the name of the guy you had lesson with in Maui (other than MP)? I sent a PM earlier.

Going to Maui Simon? I'm jealous since it was cold on the hands for the first part of yesterday at centennial.

Yesterday was a fluck session for me to get out. 4.5 for most of my time then a few weak runs on 5.3. near 1 hour of ok conditions but happy to get out.

Hi Mike, yes we got here last Saturday. Don't want to rub it in, but I will, it has been windy every day :D. Head high waves sometimes more, gusty at times. One of the days I estimated at least 80 windsurfers which was awesome to see (maybe even out numbered kite boarders).

Head high is awesome. I recall going over that and the punishment for going wrong moved up exponentially. Gusty at that time of year is typical I think.

Simon that's awesome. Looks like you are in for a few more epic days, with nice wind and waves. Very jealous after the last few days of nasty cold sailing here.
