Windsurfing shop talk

Tomorrow could be an awesome day! Tide and wind both look like a perfect setup for Centennial, but favour the morning. Richi, Chuck and all the usual suspects I hope to see you out there!!

What’s this talk of throwin’ Down some Hate and sending yourself over the handlebars?!!

Sorry you won't be there! Yup, got to get that move down this winter. It's been causing me nothin but grief but I've decided to try again.

michael!
good stuff. it took me 3 years roughly to get it together on the forwards. it hurts getting pounded on the back several times when they go wrong... but you are on the right track persistence pays off, they will finally click! then you can start to fine tune the move better. practice practice practice good on ya!

Windy. Windiest of the last three. Started and ended on 4.0/92 but the rest/most was on a very large feeling 3.4/74. Fun zone was WAY out there. Saw DB hook onto set wave early on that was almost logo high. Some jumps some slides, but most of the time just too windy to try anything serious. Spent a lot of time hunting for sets without chop and hunting for lulls to work them in. Whole day felt pretty hectic (to me). Full-on bullet rain. Stokeometer was sporting three sets of gloves today (only two on the water). I was hoping the volume would get turned down a little and there were moments when it was, including the last few rides on the bigger stuff (4.0/92) - nice to feel the rails of the board actually ripping through the smooth(er) waves.
