Ebey Landing 4.2 Right Now

Windsurfing shop talk

Hey Guys,

Just got a text from Mike Jorgensen, one of the Washington locals I sailed with on Whidbey, and he's lit on a 4.2 and small wave board at Ebey. The wind just kicked in very quickly the past hour. Solid SE at all the important sensors just in the last hour and forecast to build into the afternoon. Looks like a great afternoon of 4.2 or smaller wind.

1000am Port Townsend SE 27 Gusting 36
1000am Oak Harbour ESE 16 Gusting 23

Hey Guys,

Oak Harbour just cranked up to SE 25 Gusting 35 from ESE 16 Gusting 23 in the past hour. Ebey will be solid 3.7-4.0 with Oak Harbour that strong. Leave now and you're on the water sailing by 1pm or hang around and hope the light onshore wind swings SE and builds before dark at Centennial and White Rock.

Fingers crossed it goes locally...............

Looks like small kites and Whiterock Conditions at Double Bluff already. Ebey will have better wind and waves on this direction. Check the live webcam link below:
