Registered. Should be fun. Let's hope for a solid westerly thermal July 8th.

When might we have the finer details for the event? I registered but have not received any further info regarding the event, and it's already Wednesday tomorrow. Only a few days away. Thanks.

I'd like more details so I can plan on what board to bring. The drawbacks of just having a roof rack....

Hi - all. The registration starts at ten at the Jericho Sailing Center and the schedule for the day will be wind dependent.

In terms of gear it is hard to say - we use the term Slalom loosely. The course is slalom based but there is no restriction on gear as the wind could vary from 5-25 knots (generally averaging 15 knot thermals in the summer). Some people will be on club 140-225L boards, some formula, some long boards. The fastest board with reasonable volume would be best!

I wanted to send a big thanks out to all the Organizers, Volunteers, and Sponsors that were involved in today's Slalom windsurfing race at the Jericho Sailing Center. As a first time participant in such an event I had a blast. It was great to have some friendly competition, meet some interesting people, share in our excitement for windsurfing, and BINGE on hotdogs!

There were lots of photos being taken both on and off shore. I am sure many participants like myself would be interested in seeing and even downloading some of the photos from today. Where might we find a link for these?

This year was awesome. Share the word and lets make next year even more awesomer. ;)

Again a big thanks.

Super fun day and ultimately there was no replacement for waterline length so longboards got a chance to beat up the "go fast" boards.

I had a great time once I stopped falling in at the marks. Hopefully the photographed my more graceful moments.

Thanks to the organizers for greatly run and super fun event. I highly enjoyed the atmosphere and look forward to attending future events.

While I was racing, my wife took 800+ photos that I dumped into a Google Drive folder. I also posted a short report here: http://www.nwwindtalk.com/session-reports

A link to the photo album is at the bottom of the blog post.
