Not much wind these days but got in my first SUP session with my son Kai this morning and saw a few familiar faces out at the break! SUPed the new Starboard Hyper Nut 7'8" x 30" super fun board, didn't think I could paddle anything that small but it's nice and wide.
Kai caught his first wave suping in the surf today while I had only managed fall in a number of times!

Fun shots and 'ride-along' video of the glassy waves (almost felt as good as catching one myself)! Awesome you got to share with Kai and the some of the BWD crew! 8-) Please take a few rides for me and keep the posting coming! :D ;)

Nice work Michael. Where exactly on Maui is that? Looks so good... Hopefully no wind will come along and mess it all up... :o

Hey George, we were out at the lowers break at Kanaha Beach Park. It looks so different without wind. That was my first time SUPing there and it was sweet, although a little on the small side. Amazing how easy it is to catch those waves with no wind and lots of space between them. I hope the wind shows up soon though! :D

Nice video water look crystal clear but you can really see the vog. After the sup'ers came in around 1 the wind picked up enough for a 2 hour session on my 10 and surfboard. Wind was a bit up and down and onshore , still fun to get out in the waves. Trades are back Friday hopefully and new swell Sunday. Fingers crossed.

Thanks Tony, it was super clear out there, turtles and fish everywhere. I'll be back out there Sunday morning when the waves return. The fog sucks, even used 2 anti fog strips but no luck. I can never get away from it here.
