18 knots at Jericho, 19 at YVR and the forecast has it peaking at 5:00. Heading straight to kits beach after work, ETA 3:00

Too light at Spanish Banks at 1pm so joined the foilers at Locarno. Scored over 1.5 hrs on 12m + surfboard. In W 18-22 no trouble making it upwind from Locarno to Spanish Banks. Typical chop from Locarno to Spanish Banks so had to hunt for clean waves.

Surrounded by 8 kiters (including Chris, Filepe, Don, Jon, Kirsch ...) on 10m+foil, Richi (windsurfing) and I (surfboard) were the only one not on foils. Later more windsurfers arrived (Lubo, Igor, Richard). Spanish Banks eventually picked up enough for 4 kiters on 12m including Shane and Richi.

Pleasantly surprised for a day with low expectations. Benito reported 2.5 hrs on 12m at the Tsawwassen Ferry terminal with 4 kiters.

Solid 3 hours on the water from 3-6 at Spanish Banks with 12m + skim. Some nice waves up at dog beach and Acadia.

Busiest day I've ever seen for kits beach. 10 kites on the water at a time with lots of people coming and going, 9m-12m on surfboards and twin tips. I was lit on my 12m at times.

Waves were disorganized but there were a few waist high clean ones to be found.

Woody , Richard and I scored a nice end-of-day session at Locarno from 430 to 6 pm. Just enough for me on 6.0 and 110 l with a big fin to get through the lulls. A bit SW by then but stil a fun bonus session in the sun.
