Hope you have a great trip Ryan!

A couple of observations from a quick look at the forecasts: Wind forecast looks good through the end of the month, but Medford is forecast to heat up next week and could break 100 by Thursday which may pose some risk to the wind forecast mid-to-late next week (heat bubble). Swell forecast looks to be dominated by NW wind swell (but if your are headed for the rock, should get what your looking for). Enjoy.

How did you break your board? I hope someone was able to bring you down one.

Probably a flat landing. Big crack all the way across the top. Luckily Ben let me use his JP 88 which turns better than my board.

My most ambitious field repair ever, Marine Tex and three layers of glass. Will test today to see if it lasts, I'll try some flat landing on my last day.

Super windy here, overpowered 4.0 for two days. Not much in wave department though. Good for jumping but slim pickings for riding. The theory is that the wind is too North which makes less of a wind wave at the Rock, I'm not sure since to me the wind seems to be the same angle. The Cape is flat and choppy.

Did your fugly field repair hold? Pretty amazing that you managed to do that. Guess in additional to spare masts you have to bring spare boards next time.
