Any guesses on timing for wind at Acadia/Jericho? Might it actually line up for the working stiffs?

Was at JWSP from 4 till 7 and not much over 10 kts. Not sure how the graph shows gusts of over 20kts cuz there was none of that for sure. Tired the dog out with some fetch, and had a nice time. Looking at the Squamish graph it looks like I made the right choice to gamble on some fun down south. Maybe next time.

Hey Faceplant! Sorry to hear about the Skunkage down Whidbey way.

Also sorry to be that guy, but Locust was Awesome!!

Well, not awesome but a hell of a lot of fun and well worth the drive down. I was waffling as didn't leave until 3pm but had my eye on the graph for most of the afternoon.

3 hrs TOW from 4-7pm with the Bay all to myself until the last hour. Powered big kite (14m) although a 12 would have worked as well with about 20 minutes around 6pm where it blew up quite nicely requiring a healthy yank on the depower. Nice to be able to eke out a session having missed the past few.

Let's hope Acadia delivers tomorrow am!

Glad you scored. I'm not sure I even looked at the locust graph yesterday. I just bombed right past! I picked the wrong day to skip out of work. Oh well. Can't be good looking and lucky at the same time!
