Hey everyone just looking for some info on the 5:15 am Tsawwassen to Nanaimo ferry. How early do you get there to ensure a place on the boat? Reservation on weekday? Can I arrive 0500 and still pretty much get on always? Not holidays just regular days. Also, the return in the evenings, maybe the 2230, is it easy to get on?

Last year. Arrived 510am, boarded 515am. Last ferry not an issue. No need for reservations both ways. Too expensive for most people, unless it's a long weekend.

Hey George, I've taken it many times and I've arrived at 5 or just past and there is usually lots of room, ticket sales end 5 minutes before sailing times so like Gabriel said even up to 5:10. Coming back on the last one at night seems to be fine as well.
