That was fun. Centennial. Guys on 3.7 to 4.0 with decent swell. Died about 20 mins ago.

Just as advertised. Started E 20-25 8-9:30pm on 9m - choppy but fun. SSE 30-35 9:30-11:30am on 7m with sweet waist to chest high breaking waves nicely spaced (30-40 ft apart). Fantastic kiter turn out at 3rd Ave including Dave B, Jeff, James, Lucas, Jeff/Tweegster, Mark/Roxstock, Andrew, AJ and a dozen more.

Nice to visit windsurfers at Centennial including Lubo, Michael, Tony/Leopardskin, Richard, Mike, Brian, Dallas, Ryan, Adrien and many more.

Great way to end the weekend with sun shine, dry gear and big smiles.

Another score the afternoon session at White Rock? I aborted when I saw the WR sensor tank ... but the Blaine session kept on going!

Awesome morning at 3rd, quite well powered on my 9m in the 30-35 knots, great waves, fun to ride on a tt. The westerly never made it into Vancouver, I went to wreck beach at 4:00 and it was only 12-15 knots, not worth the hike back up the steps to get the light wind gear. There were about 30 seals
playing around in the water about 20 yards from shore which was nice to watch.

Yep, Centennial delivered today. First ever wash out in a wave at Centennial for me towards the end which is a clue to how good it was (mini Maui washout but enough to tumble once in whitewater, then swim hard a few minutes chasing my year as it surfed away). Followed the enthusiasm to white Rock in spite of about 3 hours tow. Massive turn out there. Wind was straight on shore and maybe 5.3 so I called the day and took the win home on account of little energy left. Probably would have been good kiting on a surfboard but likely < centennial was.

Ending the weekend with a fitting beer for the day, tastes pretty good too.

Sesh 1 Centennial. Good just like Mike described.

Sesh 2 White Rock. About 20 knots straight onshore. Swell was decent near the pier. Maybe 5 foot faces.

Sesh 3 Sandpiper Pub, of course.

Shorebreak. Early start to the day at Point Roberts marina breakwall (aka Gabriel's Beach) following a quick 'look-see' at Centennial. Things started off light on big gear for DB (5.8/105) and myself (6.1/115) with sideshore conditions on the early east wind, then the wind and swell kicked-in (4.5/92). AG (windsurf), Gabriel (surf), Keeldude (surf), DaveC (surf), and George (surf) arrived. Amazing to see 2' build to overhead high in what seemed like the blink of an eye. Only problem was the wind was straight onshore (S) and stayed that way until it swung and eased off around noon. Not an issue for the surfers, but the big swell made for shorebreak and breaking waves in close to the beach in the high tide was troublesome for those windsurfing. RyanCR500 joined in toward the end of the push. Fun when you were riding large waves backside, but you quickly found yourself back on the beach navigating the shore break. Amazing to see and experience (lots of wide-eyed sailing in the heart of the push), but Centennial is likely a better call for windsurfing on south wind.
