yeap, it's switching , middle georgia strait @ 10-14 knots NW. Sand heads already NW. uphauling board would come handy.

Fun power hour session. Made it back in as the switch to SW was not too drastic. Fully powered on the 5.8, waves started building and was able to catch a few rides, it's amazing how good a nice jibe can make you feel. Wish I could start every day like that. A nice eagle decided to share his breakfast with me and dropped a fresh duck carcass on my van! :D Love Boundary Bay in the winter. Oh ya forgot my boots, not a good thing in January but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Actually felt about the same as Cape Sebastian in June.

Looked pretty decent for dawn patrol at Centennial. Good score.

Joe S, Garrett (local) and I scored a 9m early morning session at Locust. Got 1.5 hrs in S 20-25 from 9am to 10:30am. Clean waist high waves became disorganized at the end of the session. Joe continued from 11am-12pm on 12m but I procrastinated too long so I instead landed Joe at noon before the tide got too high - just in time since the wind died at noon. Nice to end the session with sunny blue sky.

It seems better forecast than Jericho; big gear; if nothing else.

small strait swell, but never know. kite & windsurf.
