Weather Talk For BC no matter what you ride

Windsurfing shop talk

I am not that selfish , wind peak is at 9am.

Because of tide, PR surf will go from 8am-12noon (after that tide is too high for this break). I look for peaks because surf builds even more, best surf 1 hour after peak; kitesurf and try surfing at 10am (going according to forecast).

The break is at the page below, read what I wrote to Ulu.

it's not exact science, forecast/wind varies. Up to you to check wind.

If gust is 40 knots expect good surf all around for windsurfing 9am-10:20am (tide lowest at 11ft), surf may break 50 meters out, we'll see.

You' ll get exactly these condition, read half page, video too, (I checked tide for dec 12, the same tide):

So ... ADRIEN if you see 30-40knots, expect those conditions and surf.

just do not run me over!

by the looks of it it's a done deal.

downgraded Today Wednesday, which means windsurfing at that spot is out, but surfing is still on, just a matter of checking Saturna Isle for 25+knots. As soon as it hits that, surf is on.

BWD 1/GFS Spotter says morning and WindGuru GFS and METAR TAF say afternoon. Although it's usually the latter two who win this arm-wrestle, I sure hope BWD-1 wins tomorrow (much better fit with my schedule). The funny part is BWD 2 (aka 'Debbie Downer') is showing a win(d)-win(d) all-day event! Not an option I had contemplated (both), but that would work! :D ;)

The downgrade on BWD1 for Columbia has subdued my FOMO slightly, but I don't have a sea-worthy setup until Friday at the earliest anyways

Gspot looks strongest in the am with high tide. 3rd will be the spot for me.

Sweet! I'll be there tomorrow with my Sups and windgear! I can't wait to see this place go off! Hopefully it won't be too windy for me to paddle my ass out through the break. Please post up here is anyone is going!

Jay, Dave and I may check it out in the morning. I'll post if I go, if not I'll be at Centennial.
