Head-high surf. Couldn't see over the tops. 35+ knots. Choppy. It was ridiculous.

I was wondering if anybody would notice that We are staying on Oahu but went to Maui for a day. Really cool how this inter island flights work! I'm hoping kite Kailua, Oahu on Saturday Unfortunatly this is more of a beach vacation than for kiting (my mom said ) but I will hopefully get in 2 days

Tell them to walk to lanikai beach from kailua ( 1 of the top beaches in USA, it takes 20 min), they ll love it; that will give you 2 hours of undisturbed kiting.
