Hey Michael
We sailed West Side of South Chestermans where the wind was cross shore, as opposed to North Chestermans where it was cross on to on shore.
There were four kiters, two from Squamish and two from the island.
Jen on 4.2 82l, Ryan 4.5. 84l. Very gusty.

We sailed out until the lee of the island caused the wind to shut down and then caught waves on the way back. I managed to get passed the island once to catch something huge that was rolling into Cox bay.

Thanks, once again nice score and awesome photos!! You guys are inspiring and always get my craving for more wave sailing!

No luck on Saturday, we tried Long Beach and South Chestermans, but the wind was unsailable, 0 to 40 with long stretches of 0.

Wow..........speechless I can't imagine even attempting that in gusty, holey wind. You guys have some serious guts and skill. Thanks for posting the epic pictures of what B.C. has to offer.

Thank-you everyone. It was a great day! Hopefully next time all the stars align with wind and swell you can join us! The beauty of the little island between north and south chesterman is that even though it made the wind fickle it created a little channel of less intimidating waves to get out. Then some nice down the line sailing on to the beautiful bigger waves coming into the bay.

And also thank-you so much for all the advice. It made checking out all the beaches more efficient since we knew in advance where to go.
