Away 22 days – sailed 12 – missed 2 days – 1 day I shopped with Vee & 1 day I didn’t feel like driving to Kihei.
Sailed 3 days at Kihei.
2 days were huge Surf – too big to go through – lots of carnage & broken gear. Funniest thing was all the regulars & locals were on shore while visitors went out.
The pros were on Maui for the Aloha Classic – it was cancelled 1 day & they came to Kanaha – amazing to watch them in the huge waves.
No wind for the last 4 days.
It was really hot & muggy – way hotter than in the Spring. I sailed in an old torn up wetsuit.
Back home to the cold water & chilly air - looking forward to the 1st storm
