Windsurfing I'm guessing? Was there wind near shore to launch a kite?

Hey Ross, good to know. I was watching it but wasn't sure were to launch?
Was there much of a wind shadow? You said South outflow but I'm assuming you meant North?

Well played dudes! No way I could've made it with work, but good to know to keep an eye out for those outflows.

Anyone tried the outflow in Harrison? Some co-workers were telling me it was blowing up there on Sunday.

Pam Rocks is gusting to 36 knots again this morning! Francis or Ross, where did you launch from on Sunday? Details would be helpful.

I was planning to head up this past Sunday but the forecast looked weaker than Sat but it ended up blowing all morning and most of the afternoon. Is there a beach access at Brunswick Point or the NE section of Lions Bay, or is Furry Creek the only workable location?

Why launch at Fury Creek? Wouldn't Porteau Cove be 100x easier and have better wind?

I've heard (from Alton & Chris) that there is a significant wind shadow at Porteau Cove but I've never sailed an outflow so I can't comment accurately.

I would imagine that shadow is only on inflows looking at the shape of the fjord, but I've never launched there on either direction.
