Micheal,

Stoked to hear about your foray into the waves!

Would love to hear a debrief when you guys get back, maybe we can set up a pub night/post session beers to hear about it. I'm sure C36 has taken a gazillion pics too, which would be cool to check out!

I know side-off can make it hard for decent jumps on the way out, but any loopage to report?

Hope you guys get the Macker-swell forecast!

It was a full week with over 25+ sessions in eight days:
• 10+ down the line windsurfing sessions
• 7 SUP sessions
• 4 SUP-sail sessions
• 3 mountain bike rides
• 1 surfing set

Wow lots of great shots there!

Here's the non-slideshow version of C36's pix! Works on Android too. Formats nicely on a 16:9 display (at least on the desktop Chrome browser)!

From what I saw Maryam was ripping it up and enjoying every minute of it! :D 8-) Click here to take a look for yourself (these ones were taken by Clark and the last two my Mark at Solo Sports). :D ;) While I was there, I was also struck by how truly awesome our community of wind-folk are here (including those who travelled to PSC) and on Vancouver Island! We are VERY lucky! 8-)

Here are few of Michael ripping it up (these ones were taken by Clark and the last two my Mark at Solo Sports)! :D 8-)

Here are a few of me kooking it out (these ones were taken by Clark and the last five my Mark at Solo Sports)! :D ;)

Here are a few of my favourite photos that Dave, Clarke and Mark took of me.
Day 1 had the best waves. When the fog killed the wind I went out for a SUP and Tyson came out and gave me some tips. The shot at the bottom one of my best waves of the trip! Actually I had my most fun on the SUP, as the waves just got smaller day by day and the wind got really strong by the end of the week. One day the smallest sail used was a 2.9 ( Maryam ) and the biggest was a 4.2. Wyatt said to me on the second last day, "Dude I've never seen it this flat". : ( Still had a great time and learnt a lot from Tyson and Wyatt. Bring on the Oregon Coast!

I love the fact how David, and Michael ignored the question "Did you survive Maryam?" Most likely they want to respond to it on an evening of beer and tear :)

My summary: It was an awesome week. Learned tons. And FLEW THE PLANE!

Bring on that evening of beers and stories - I'd love to hear them from all 3 of you. Very jealous that you did one of my bucket-list items without me, but I'd love to live it vicariously for now!!
