Monday through Thursday look strong. I'm nursing a cold so I'm not sure when I can make it.

I'll strive to be up there this week if the weather and my body holds out (in spite of a bit of a cold - where did that come from?).

Odd how marine EC says light wind though gfs is good.

I spent most of Sunday in bed sweating with chills, coughing and body aches. Just got back from the doctor and he says I have the flu. I was worried I had pneumonia which I had several years ago - thankfully it's just the flu. Guess I'll be resting most of this week.

Mike - Hopefully, you just have a cold rather than the flu. See http://health.syr.edu/education/cold-and-flu.html

Alton, there is a pneumonia vaccine that takes care of 35 cases of pneumonia; I had weak lungs from biking to UBC in freezing weather. Have your doctor give you the vaccine (it's free), your lungs will feel stronger during a cold/flu, less chance of developing pneumonia again.

Good advice. Especially, since I push myself to exhaustion due to sleep deprivation.

I was prescribed some expensive cough syrup laced with Codeine and I'm feeling mighty fine :D

Thankfully (for me) that's nothing like what I had (which is gone now). Take care of yourself - you're not missing too much.

Monday Squamish was "trying." Brutal traffic issues. Still got about an hour windsurf but when wind kicked in so could get power for spock attempts (starboard) the chop also kicked in. Some insights for flakas (port). The nice "chill" not busy atmosphere was largely missed as I floated in the bay with my kite in the water (2X!). When I switched to kite the wind went extremely holey. Nice getting some kite advice/chat with some of the usual locals at the end.
