I bought those mono Dakine lines from Alton 2 years ago @ UBC swap. Still going, but my weight is 150lbs, a welterweight, and even dental floss would hold my weight.

Actually, my past was cursed with going over the handle bars and snapping booms (8 booms over 5 years) ... using normal harness lines. When I switched to mono lines the curse ended.

My monos are red, hence faster.

time to buy spray paint, writing down all this technical info for future reference.
I am guessing no wind @ Squamish today. ;)
I'll mix the 2 colors to make it lighter and faster, sail color to match ( :? ...pink, "not that there's anything wrong with it")

Boom. This line has less then 10 outings on it. A real bummer cause I have been "trying" to windsurf since 1982 and have never broken harness lines untill the last year. Two identical failures in that time, its enough to drive someone to kiteboarding. F%#k I miss Windsurfing Hawaii product.

Ouch$

Hey Alton,

The 4 Chinooks, 1 HPL, 1 Fiberspar and 1 Goya were all 100% covered under warranty. Big Winds, Windance and AirTime were all excellent with the quick turn around no questions asked.
