Booms were still at Nexen yesterday. Launch at the Spit. More wind and it's still free!

Boms indeed at nexen , although do not look to hard to get around or across .... Will take our chances .

Come out to the Spit. No booms and tons of friendly kiters.

Good today. Even better late afternoon. Bonus: no orca, no carcinogens, no salmon pinks.

Yet another fine day at the Spit. Starting at 12:30pm SW 18-20 filled in everywhere but noticeably weaker outside. 2 hrs TOW before calling it quits after the first lull. Wind returned after I packed. Wind was weaker but steadier than Saturday. Full house today with lots of windsurfers including Joe, Mike, Tony, Adrien, Nicolas, Lubo, Igor, Massimo ...

The booms at Nexen were really not a problem , but the wind was probably better at the spit.
was there enough water at low tide at the spit ?

There was plenty of water at the spit. Guys launching with big race fins no problem.

Enough wind for guys with mid 5 metre sails.
