Fun day-trip to Columbia Beach with AG! Wind and waves were better than I was expecting and AG's first session at CB as on the high side of average. I saw RedBaron bang off a really nice clean forward on the outside! 8-) Saw Kus and Paul do synchronized forwards! 8-) 8-) And there was lots of weaving and slashing to be had! Smiles all around! The forward training felt a little like and episode of 'Splat-a-Lot' but I appreciate AG taking the time to coach and spot. The attempts I got in were pain free and helped - baby steps! Even got treated to pizza at the French River surf cabin thanks to Pat and Kus! Fun trip for sure! :D

Glad you guys had a good day. Adrien disappeared for a while on the CBTV, and I saw more broken gear, what happened? Keep working on the forwards Dave, at least you're going for them.

Snapped the arms off (Alton's) boom sheeting in for a forward at the end... that move is a boom killer.. The broken parts punctured a hole in my XL in the surf

Awesome day. The reef ramps hit a sweet spot for about an hour, making for easy launching into forwards, but according to Kus they were pretty mediocre today compared to what can be. Wind was super steady.

Thruster setup worked awesome with a MFC 21cm center fin Dave lent me. The improvement in carving performance was super noticeable on upwind 360 entrances and gybes off swell out the back. The board also felt more drivey and "planted" overall. Stoked.

Damn the waves look better than yesterday in that screenshot, Michael! I'm stuck at the office today though ;)

Tony, I was still getting warmed up in that shot. Once I was riding at AG 10.5 level, Alton's boom didn't last very long... Also, how badass does my new fake carbon paint job look?!?
