For sure.............strong onshore flow, sunny in Kamloops = WINDY. The 30+cm of snow on the Coquihalla Saturday might make the drive interesting though!

Unreal day at Nicola today. Massive jumps, nice swell. I made a mistake and started with 12m. Once things settled down a 7m with twin tip was all i needed.
Lots of happy people today!!!!
Gusty to start, but nice and steady after!

Great score! My wife said it hit 18 in Kamloops today too. How was the water temperature?

Water temp is just fine. Warmer than Squamish was on wednesday.

Wind died around midnight and then it started to blow hard around 2am. Woke up to 5 degrees, sun and very gusty swirling wind. Gusts were low 30's, with lulls. Decided to give it a try with the 7M. Went from being fully powered cruising along to zero wind. Crash, struggle, get going again, wind would shift south and weird things would happen. Back to shore in 20 minutes with numb fingers. Air was cold today.
Drove back to North Van. Missed the little boy.
Turns out it was the right call, even though it appeared to be very windy, it wasn't clean wind.
Lots of talk of the boys going to Stump when I left, and also Skaha lake has been their new favourite winter location with sandy beach, on shore steady wind.
Few pics from yesterday.
