Have you heard of the 7 year itch?

Happy B-Day Adrien. Interesting perspectives mind game in above discussion. It seems you're still of an age where 29 is old, but you're talking so a bunch a folks where 29 is but a distant memory (at least speaking for myself :) )

I'm trying to make Wednesday & Thursday work. For really flat water, the first runs of that come in a couple of weeks (1 M or less is my guideline). Sometimes is can be really flat higher than that but I haven't puzzled out the conditions to forecast it. Mid afternoons Wed & Thurs go to lows of 1.2 to 1.4M so could be good, particularly on port in the river??? Wind certainly looks promising so other consideration is sometimes along the terminal shore north of the where the tanker parks.

What? You're only 29? I thought you were in your mid 30s already.

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys. I guess 23 ain't so bad/old after all

Mike/Dave - Hope to see you guys up there tomorrow. Based on the depth of the far side of the river yesterday (hip deep 1.5hours after the big low), I think that sandbank should just be exposed which makes a nice port-tack "Spockorium".

Michael - Sorry your Maui days are coming to an end, buddy. I'll see ya in Squamish in two weeks when you just can't take sitting around anymore and you get desperate

Alton - I just looked that up  You've been itching for a while now then eh??

Tony - That's cause I hangout with old windsurfing dudes!

Looks like I missed another good Squamish day. Maybe tomorrow.

Bird blue sky ... looks like a mighty fine day for sailing. Hoping it's starts early. On a tight schedule so I'll have to splash 'n dash.

How was Squamish today? Thinking of going up for some tacos tomorrow. And maybe some kiting.

Hate to rub it in but I will ... you missed a beautiful day at the Spit.

Super steady WSW 18-20 filled in everywhere from 1pm to 2:30pm with smooth wavelets under sunny sky and warm water. Had to splash 'n dash to avoid being accused of child abandonment. Badly wanted to stay longer but didn't want to deal with the consequences. Amsteel blue depower worked well. Broken pin assembly held up - can't wait to test it in 30+ knot conditions. Started nailing most of my inbound gybes (switching feet) - so much easier strap-less. Very crowded day on the water. Big turnout including Jerry, Clay, Cash, Steve, Martin, Faceplant, Slappy, Denham, Eileen, Andrew, Peter, Ross, Vince and many, many, many more (slackers). Lots of foilers including Colin, Paul, Stephano, Don and many more. Windsurfers included Francois, Mike, Adrien, C36 and Ashton?

Tony - Expect even better conditions tomorrow. Due to parental responsibilities I can't make it ... so you can rub it in. Enjoy the wind without me

How late did the wind blow today? I can't make it until 4:30 or so tomorrow but really itching for a session, even if it's a quick one.
Thanks!
