It was a great day. Finally one session after Sept 29th! My gear bonfire event is cancelled tonight :)
Sorry for no OSRs. My phone was broken. As Richi says OSRs bring the community together, and also save people gas, so if you don't have my lame excuse, make sure to leave one :)

Good excuse to get one of these - even spins on its axis perpetually.

So glad some other folks got out to enjoy the wind and sun today! Curious what time it was sailable at Centennial since Terry arrived at Tswassen having moved from there at 1030 am, so I stayed and sailed with him. We had good steady SW wind almost all morning, with only one very short lull. When we left at about 1230 it still looked good at the Ferry Terminal. Does that mean it blew SW for us and SE at Centennial at the same time?

I was on a 6.0 but 5.5 would have been perfect much of the time, so the wind strength also sounds similar. I expect the waves were a bit nicer in Boundary Bay but I was pleasantly surprised that the Ferry terminal had small well-spaced waves and no chop.

Boundary Bay and Point Roberts re-caps would be great, for our ongoing "research".

Congrats to "babymama", Ryan, Jen, Richi and Richard for scoring a Centennial session.
Apparently it was way better beyond the wind line than the sensor reported.
