That session helped fix me. Definitely a better option than White Rock on a south wind direction that may shift with some west. Bigger sea creatures here too :)

Even with a marginal forecast Point Robert delivered a steady S 18 - 22 from 9:30 to 11:30.

PR virgins (AJ 4.5/86L and Mike 5.9/95L) and PR has-beens (Michael 5.2/Roberts and Alton 5.2/93L) scored fun in the sun with waist high swell slightly disorganized outside but nicely set up in the middle.

Wave spacing and overall conditions were just like Acadia on a mild 20 knot day. Only 1 kiter (Pat 10m) joined us and 1 late arrival (James - you snooze you lose).

What a perfect way to end the weekend - big smiles and a teletubbie tan.

Excellent! Wish I was there but felt a bit chicken to try Pt Bob with a marginal forecast, all the stories about the current, and not having sailed for a month. Had lots of fun "mowing the lawn" and playing on the smaller waves at the Ferry Terminal, so all is not lost!
Great to hear that about a dozen of us squeezed a sunny session in today, at three different sites :D
