Challenging day today at Acadia:
1. WSW 30-35 - survival sailing on 3.7/74L
2. +5C warm in my O'Neill 5.5/4 Pyrotech but frozen fingers even with mitts
3. High tide made shore break challenging
4. Wind shadow required a swim before waterstarting
5. Zero visibility inbound with low glaring sun made spotting waves and staying upwind tricky
Good day today at Acadia:
1. Good sharing the waves (steep, chest high, breaking, smooth, nicely spaced) with Francois, Jonathan, Dave/C36, Ewart, Michael, Mike, Richi, James, Johnny, Randy, BabyMama, AJ, Lubo, Ben, Ryan and yes ... even Greg/Frogwindsurf
2. Plenty of sun for a teletubbie tan
3. No carnage in the shore break
4. Nailed 4 sweet gybes even in nuking conditions
5. My toasty warm O'Neill Pyrotech wetsuit remains pee-free
