More stoke for the fire  (like you need more stoke  ) Your time will come my friend! I sense there are LOTS of good days in store up there with all this dry, warm weather. :D ;)

Acadia osr, not much wind on shore but lots of whitecaps upwind and some more in the middle of the bay, decent swell pumping into the beach. I'm guessing it could be 5 to 15 in the middle, kind of hard to tell.I believe there was stronger wind at Jericho, a steady 15 at times. 3 foilers were out blasting around. I'm going to stay here cause it's so damn pretty and hope for a push, 5.6 and sup for now, hopefully I can catch a few swell trains.

Richi : Forecast for Monday shifted, small surf 4:30-6pm (tide 12ft to 10ft), halibut bank will probably be 0.6. If you want to try SUP (wreck beach) I can join you 5-6pm after work, unless forecast moves again ...if windsurfing doesn't pan out for the weekend and you need some exercise. Dave too. I'll confirm Monday.

the company I work for has a cabin in Ucluelet (for its employees). Free to book anytime (i.e free to stay anytime). Going there March 26-30. I went to Tofino so much in my twenties (surfing 60 days one summer, ferry was $45, camping $20), 20 years later it's just hard to surf there (like an ex), the place has not changed much in that time , I rather surf locally as an oddity. + friend has a condo in Waikiki (free stay again when he goes) and hit Duke's buffet after surfing that warm/silky water.

Mark and I got a couple hour lightwind session at Iona after work. Tide was going out and left us with a long walk back. Very nice evening though.

That's solid! One of my buddies lives in tofino said he knows secret breaks that you have to hike into to get away from the crowds. My uncle had a condo in Waikiki right by dukes lane. I Learned how to surf there and eventually had to make the drive to the north shore everyday to get the waves that I wanted. Bowls was the spot I'd all ways surf. Ride my skateboard with my surfboard. So many good memories. I got into kiteboarding because it's so hard to surf in Vancouver. I'm thinking about going next weekend. Friday looks epic.

Yup me too, really takes the edge off.

I used to get really antsy and ornery if it had been three weeks since I had been surfing. Now I get antsy and ornery if its been five days since kiting....
