I'm hoping for Friday afternoon as an option, I have a friend visiting so I don't think early morning will be possible for me. It also looks like gfs is starting to look more like a northerly and less westerly :( Fingers crossed though.

I'm tied up until late morning but if it looks promising, I'd give it a shot for early afternoon today. Picked up the big board (kite) last weekend so my options might be more (not withstanding skill :)) Forecast is sketchy.

Yes, 7 to 9 am. Small surf at wreck beach, sup should be OK. I'll post 930 am if any wind for kite after. HB 0.5 is not much.

There was no wind at wreck.Iona beach end of sewage pipe 18+ knots with ramps (from ubc lookout). Surf was small/ok 7 to 8 am. Dave got a few waves after with sup.

Sorry I missed it this morning, hanging out with a friend from Ontario. I have cleared up the afternoon though, hopefully jericho or Acadia gets a little push.

Dave seemed to enjoy it, even small waves are a workout, different muscles ... it's good to get used to the rythm when hb hits 0.8+. Next time Richi, hopefully bigger waves, more fun.

Next small surf in the forecast ... this Monday 7:45am-9am Wreck beach , go only if hb is 0.6 NW or higher, and looks clean from parking lot. I am working that day, can't make, but maybe Dave can join you.

Jericho is up to 14Knots and Acadia cam is showing some nice white water, time to go take a look. Tide setup would be ultra sweet for Acadia later.

I can't see sh!t on the Acadia cam... please post an OSR once you're there, cheers! Seems to be building on the Jericho stats.

I appreciate all your help, pushes and advise this morning GB.

It was really fun! :D Small waves, wind assisted take-off, sand bottom, medium length rides, free lessons - all good! :D I would go back even on 0.5 and will likely try to get my kids out there - they prefer surfing.

Pictures from the bluff - gallery (better for mobile devices) and slideshow.
