Thermal forecast for today is one of the best yet this season so if you don't have work it's the place to be.

I'll be interested to hear how it goes!

If it's anything over a steady 16knots, gusting a bit over, then it would be enough for me.. but I've got a lot of admin stuff to sort out in the next couple so if my first day back in Van I'm already gambling on a Squamish day, I'll never land a job

Slappy/Angus - many thanks for the heads up while I was heads down deep in work.

First time ever scoring a Squamish session in February. Felt more like a late spring. Over 2 hrs (1:30-4pm) at Squamish on 10m+surfboard. Steady SW 16-20 filled in everywhere (including Nexen) with plenty of sandbars. Good turn out with about 10 kiters including Alyssa, John, Colin, Bret, Evan, Pierre and Francois (windsurfing).

Glad some caught it.
Light snow pack = more ground/rock for the sun to heat = stronger early season thermals.
