Enjoying a large latte at Woods Coffee (exit 270). Hoping for Locust to pick up (hopefully not easterly).

I'll try to sneak into my Nexus interview early (scheduled for 3pm).

One clarification - these two are talking kiteboarding. Locust is an option for windsurfing all day to my understanding (although some walking to the south may be required when below 7') and the wind swell improves with deeper water from what I have seen (12:30 to 4 pm). Waiting. Watching. :D ;)

The beach space is minimum when launching above 7 ft. tide. However with a couple of helpers, it is do able as long as there are no weeds. Landing above 7 ft. means you have to drop your kite accurately into the catchers hands as you drift in. Any higher I just flag out and wind up off shore and swim in.

Still at Woods Coffee (exit 270). Going to check it out if it continues for another 20 minutes. Got my windsurfing gear for high tide but want 20+ knots.

OSR 72nd ave. about 12 knots and it's been consistently building. Tide is low but on its way in. I'm going to suit up and rig 16m if it stays the same or 12m if it gets stronger.
